Vinyl rips are often worth it for the superior original mastering alone. Does not apply to albums mastered for CD originally then transferred to vinyl.

Just going to say, if you like hard boiled crime you owe it to yourself to read Himes. Coffin Ed Johnson and Gravedigger Jones are two of the most seminal characters in the genre.
BART didn't get started till 72, so access sucked from pretty much everywhere further out than Berkeley. The surrounding area was even shittier than usual those years.
Jesus, the Moody Blues are prog the way Justin Beiber is Frank Sinatra. You'll be fine, but be sure and try and catch King Crimson before it's too late.
I've always been able to take or leave Rush. I won't skip them on shuffle, but I've made no effort to get current on their discography. They were boring as shit last time I saw them live though (Bones or Presto can't remember which).
Eh, I'd talk to the TMZ guys when I was out smoking all the time when I hung out in LA. Mostly they are bored as shit and spotting obscure psuedo celebs is a way to pass the time. I believe wagering might have been involved as well.
Hell, by 3 PM I've been smoking for 10 1/2 hours already. You folks must start late.
Jesus, could Drake be any more like Corky from Wonder Years? I seriously wonder if dude is cognitively impaired.
I'm another old white guy, and I strongly dislike everything he's done. I still give every new record a couple spins to see if I get it yet, but so far no. Same thing I do with Radiohead and Animal Collective, so it's not just a hip hop thing (though Kendrick does nothing for me either).
"Long stream of conscious rants", known as "coke binges" to us proles. Seriously, how everyone can't see dude is just shitfaced when he tweets this shit is beyond me. My last coke period was in the text era and I promise I sent crazier shit than this all the damn time.
Their ratings are suspect (like everyone's), but at least they cover a wide range of new releases.
Do you smoke weed? Then Ideal. At least until Janeane Garafolo shows up to ruin things.
Pretty sure all stringing ears will get you these days is a visit from a special kind of recruiter.
Hey, even Carlos realizes he hasn't made a decent record since III. I'd rather see an original Journey reunion, but I'm crazy like that.
Those pesky checks and balances standing in the way of real reform! Sure would be great if the executive branch had all the power.
I can't believe they haven't gone this route theatrically as well. Every 4 months release an anthology, say 1 45 minute feature, 2 22 minute subfeatures, a shitload of exclusive trailers and intros.
Americans whole idea of what constitutes adequate punishment is so off the charts overall. Any felony is a life sentence to being a second class citizen , unless of course you're part of the .5%, then it means nothing.
Radio Gunsmoke is the best Gunsmoke. I'm very glad to have been exposed to tons of radio drama as a kid (Thanks AFN). So much absolutely fantastic content that is sadly unappreciated today even though folks surely love podcasts.
I can only speak for the late 60's and 70's, but most retail stores had at least one round rack. And 12 cents,15 cents was cheap even accounting for inflation.
This is pretty much how I feel about Cruelty. I grew up with that genre in glorious B&W on a 13" portable, so it hits my sweet spot. Even Hudsucker was under appreciated initially.
