1990.
1990.
Jim Dandy, it's too bad we will never see his like again.
Post Steve Hackett I'm sure you meant
Grand Funk was far better than it's reputation would suggest. Black Oak Arkansas however..
Didn't know that actually, I just got stuck with a kitchen shift and didn't have a hard drive with me so I gave it a shot.
That doesn't work anyway because you can only thumb down so much. I foolishly tried to make a classic country playlist at work and no matter what I did it was still Johnny Cash every third song.
The difference is A: Noel is fucking funny, and B: he's just taking the piss (oh, and C: he would have slapped most if not all the fucking Kardashians upside the head by now). Kanye actually believes the shit he says.
I hope you weren't looking into a mirror when you posted that.
A pitcher every 2 minutes until the first person pukes, then one every 5 minutes after that.
The last couple Amboy Dukes records and the first solo record hold up as decent efforts IMO.
At least the sight of Slater doesn't send me into the incoherent homicidal rage that Radnor does, so that's something.
I just watched Spectre (really not very good) yesterday and it looks to me like they are setting up some version of OHMSS next.
Just not this Hawkman please. They looked freaking terrible on Flash/Arrow.
I wonder why Simon doesn't just do a series on Robert Moses already. Does someone want a bunch of money for the rights to Power Broker then?
I know I went to that damn Amnesty International show, but I have zero memory of Sting being involved. All I remember are the Fast Cars chick,Gabriel and Springsteen.
Jerry Lee as well.
I'm pretty certain wherever Olivia Munn started, it wasn't standing up.
I rescue ferals from work so I probably have 20 or more come thru every year, and about 1 out of 5 is fascinated by the TV to the point of batting the screen. A good number will hang out and watch, primarily nature shows. Lemurs are especially popular.
It is pretty funny that someone who loves 99% of TV so uncritically would choose to become a TV critic.
I have a saying whenever that fucking hack Joe Bonamassa comes up in conversation: "He can play anything, as long as he heard someone else play it first". You could pretty much say the same about QT, all he does is regurgitate the work of actual creators while turning it up a notch.
