For something built for speed and speed alone, 250 seems a bit slow in this day and age. Sure, it’s stupidly fast on it’s own, but with ‘segg and Bugatti doing what they’re doing (and not even talking about the kind of bullshit that happens on the texas mile), I feel like Mclaren’s not reaching their full potential

Hell, I’m twenty four and I fuckin’ hate this shit. When you make something like this you do it to save weight and cost in a low impact area. This is not a low impact area. These doors go through heat and cold, they get slammed, they get yanked open, the car vibrates, the car hits potholes... Electronics are

This response is already older than boomers.

Simply pulling that lever a few millimeters rearward engages the electric latch, popping the door open.

Still a million times better than any Tesla. Well, that’s a given though since all the other companies are actual, proper car manufacturers...

Building it into a hot rod defeats the purpose of it being a pickup. Literally what every hot rod build is.

I mean, if your vehicle hits something while you’re using that feature, I’m going to hold you accountable.

Man...as an adjuster I can’t wait to hold some smug Model 3 summoning douche at fault for damage to property.

Wait... With all that free flowing profanity, exactly what did you feel the compulsion censor???

Not feeling sorry for people who have such a mindless faith in technology. A little paranoia is in order. I recently too a road trip and brought the second key fob for my car - just in case. I pat myself down every time I leave the house to make sure I have my keys, I even take my house key with me to mow my own lawn.

I was with you up until “cloth diaper laundry”. You must be a saint.

My nuanced take: Ferrari is overstepping their bounds but I, also, would not want to be associated with those nasty-ass shoes.

While I don’t disagree that GM really needs a good Wrangler competitor, the new Blazer has nothing to do with the Wrangler. GM did not bring it out to be a Wrangler competitor or because Wrangler sales have been going through the roof, they brought it out because CUV sales are through the roof.

I don’t think any automaker will ever be able to displace the Wrangler, no matter what they try to offer, nothing else really offers the definition of “cool american ruggedness”. The Blazer is yet another SUV in a sea of me-too crossovers, nothing special about it.

The problem really is that no car is “US Made” anymore. It’s a global supply chain for every component of the vehicle, so does it really matter where the final assembly is? You can’t force consumers to buy subpar vehicles just because the profits from go to the C-suite of companies that are located in America.

Is there an easy fix for that terrible front styling?
