The GLC and the A-class series cars will not share transmissions. Not even close to similar. What transmission mode did you select? They will both default to comfort mode on key cycle for fuel economy and generally be 2 gears or more up out of responsive gearing. Yeah there is a manual mode that no uses. But there is

It may use a lot of fuel at full throttle. But having only 4 cylinders would stay fuel efficient cruising speeds. Besides they would and do put turbos on the 6 cylinder. Almost nothing is NA from Mercedes these days.

Alot of car manufactures release new vehicles while still using the old engine. Nothing new hear.

Hi, I am from America. I own 1 wagon and 1 hatchback. My previous car was a wagon. I have never owned a SUV or lifted hatchback.

Coupe was way better looking

It’s price had a lot to do with its carbon fiber construction. A lot of which was new to road cars for the time.

Its styling was very SL mixed with what was supposed to be reminiscent of a formula 1 nose.... at least the front

Nope

What if the current owner doesn’t consider it something to fix? He s just disclosing it.

It is, but it’s a very easy harness to replace. Also at 240,000 miles I’d be very surprised if it hasn’t been done before. Probably before the current owner was the owner.

It would be easier if I could just read it.

Yes this scanning would apply to all vehicles. In fact they taught us this back in the day in drivers ed during high school. Something that has sadly been pulled from school. At least it has here in California.

And through the first half of the 2000's. Some of these cars where that styling very very well. Others not. Then we got all angular and square shaped. Some of these where it well and others not at all. Then we get to current models that are a combo of round and square and generally look like shit.

Some of these are 80's cars and dont belong in your comparison.

Only because they are chrome. Was chrome original?

Wat would be the point? It’s noit like the el Camino would drive good enough (unloaded) to justify not doing with a truck.

And yet people were still complaining it was boring then.

Elizabeth, they have these things called DVR's. Just saying...

Why do you need to ask?

So like just about every car gets some sort of recall...
