Those are incorrect bars. The factory bars for panoramic roof cars have a rise on them. They will have plenty of clearance to the glass if you get the correct bars. This is not unique to a GL but all panoramic roof cars.

I think it looks cool. Though I've never been a fan of glass roofs all that much. Even smaller regular sunroofs. It's cool at night or low light. It's cool in rain too. But most of the time it's just too much light in my face. I just keep the shades closed 99% of the time. I haven't sat in a Tesla but it still sounds

Joke of the year!

I went to high school in the early 90's. We did cuffed pants in the 80's but by the 90's the cuffs had already stopped.

Looks fun

The real problem is driver education. Which seems to be a thing of the past. All those bumper protector covers you show are for idiots who drive by feel (bumping) instead of looking at where they’re going.

Who buys a camry cause its fast?

Good move.

Do we have to keep calling these things crossovers? Full frame or unibody they get used the same. The unibody suv’s of old didn’t need to be called crossovers. Do we call cars crossovers once they went to unibody, or jyst cars because that's what they are. They aren't really crossing anything over. I don't know it's

Ford would be far from the first to go down the performance path for an cuv. Maybe if they actually put in a manual. But more like following the europeans.

But you have to live in Iowa

As a 40 something auto technician that started out in his parents garage at a young age and started working for a major German luxury brand in 1995. I don’t understand your apprehension now. The auto industry also did software updates via discs and boy would that take a long time. Software updates over the internet

Doesnt this dude run drag radicals and a stripped interior.

This applies to the whole brand. I mistake s-class coupes for the c. I think a c is an e. I also work for MB and am totally let down by these new cars.

I like the 20-40 test. I don’t like the locked in 4th gear part. They should choose gearing based on final drive numbers. But let’s be honest v8 vs 4cyl turbo will always win this test. It’s not realistic to drive a 4cyl turbo at those speeds in 4th gear. I feel 3rd is more realistic at this speed for a fair

This is true but these cars may also have different rear end ratios. I like the 20-40 mph test. But I don't like the static gear requirement of 4th... even back then. An auto car would downshift so why can't manual. I get that isn't what the test is but I think they should look at final drive ratios and perform the

I don't understand limos...

I work at a busy Mercedes dealer as a tech. We could care less where you bought it and hardly even look. If you haven’t been with us before we will be trying to win your repeat business.

Yep, if we look at car and can not reproduce the issue I do not get paid. Mechanics are paid on labor charges completed. If I can not bill you or warranty labor I do not get paid, end of story. We don’t charge for everything though. If you have a complaint for a noise while I do service and just say have a quick look

Yeah this sounds like domestic car dealer thing. They probably do this a lot cause they get paid more from you then the factory. I would suspect they try this on clients who bought there too. They just threw out that you didn’t buy it here to make you feel guilty and accept the charge.
