Looks about as good as the real thing

Rreminds of a shop accident back in 2000 or 2001. Some car came in with spinners on... yeah remember those. Well one guy dared an apprentice to stop the spinner with his finger. The apprentice actually tried and lost part of his finger... I wasn’t close enough to say stop and I’m not sure why the guy who dared him

I got bored when I took over my wife’s commuter because a box truck side swiped me pretty good on the highway and I’m now the commuter anyway. But my senses make me keep the car cause it’s pretty ok for a cheap commuter car. 2008 Mazda 3 hatch that we gave owned since early 2011. As a mechanic I tend to drive them

I have to disagree. And raise you you broken plastic chrome on steering wheel. Sure it’s not as visual but being visual at least reminds you. The steering wheel may only be peeling at a corner and you forget. Or you forget cause you are ya know... driving. Then that wheel turns and slice...

Douchey mounted front license plates. I just can’t stand it. There are a few that turn out looking but all the off center or turned sideways crap is awful. A lot of these block the fog lamps or even head lamps. The worst era the people who the strap them on with the straps to the grill in the almost stock location as

So how many other people died while speeding yesterday?

Why did you pick this as something to write about? Automakers have recalls all the time for wrong labels. I’ve even had to replace the emissions label under a recall for a fully electric car.

Really

I can’t stand the idiots that have to change lane right in front of you even though no one is behind you and then they slow down. So now I have to slow down, pass them at a slower speed then I was going and then speed back up to my original pace.

I guess there is a reason they call them idiot lights.

I have to assume there is More to that story. What temp gauges red and what not. How the engine ran. As a mechanic I have my doubts that the only sign was a check engine light and everything was fine for a couple of miles and then the engine blew. Or it was already too late or a new engine was the smarter, more cost

I agree, but could be even less if you park outside and in the sun a lot.

A lot of manufacturers recommend spark plug replacement based on age not just mileage. So even if the car didn’t absolutely need it, the guy was probably doing his do diligence keeping the car maintained. Bit then again your just a writer so why would you know everything.

Ad they don’t even c0 me with a real roof!

I haven’t killed anyone in like 40 years

Ccontractors can put in something like this permanately with a pipe through it.

Ive done this

Ramps

You should have a the guy talk to some contractors. I know there are some that have modified driveways in San Francisco. Hell I once poured some concrete at the end of my driveway and partially in the street to help level it off.

Actually the guy is thinking it through. He is seeking advice while thinking about the car.
