You know the new Switch is getting announced soon when Nintendo can just openly drive some guy online into destitution. They do love to pull shit like this and throw their weight around. They are basically the Pope of video game companies - completely infallible.
This show was great. Silver Snakes for life. But that synopsis of the reboot sounds nothing like it. Oh well.
I live in a building that is approx 75% people of color. Of those that smoke, its the same percentage smoking Newports or occasionally Kools.
i usually appreciate niche technology but i kind of hate this phone.
here’s a code i wont use. enjoy: CD37-DVBSQ-91QK
the VR missions that came with Substance alone are worth $10. cant wait.
if only any other chain would do this. bk is my least favorite.
The 3DS version of this and Majora’s are the best remakes ever. Somehow massively improving already phenomenal games is impressive.
Grezzo, the team behind the 3D remakes of OoT and Majora’s Mask, deserve a lot of credit for making 2 of the best games of all-time somehow even better. I also love Ever Oasis, their first original property that was overlooked due to releasing near the end of the 3DS’ run and rise of the Switch. I hope they are…
i like all the original apes movies, it was one of the first box set DVDs i ever bought. but i have to agree the end is by far the best part of Beneath and one of the best scenes in the whole series
anymore. its clearly been dead for over a year now. but, jfc, going full-recap AGAIN after being rightfully criticized for it last week is just a middle finger to everyone left.
the original series is criminally overlooked and was incredible. i lost some enthusiasm for this remake when fincher left but im still excited to check it out.
this southern gothic movie was extremely up my alley. like Undertow mixed with an even-more-violent A Place Beyond The Pines (both extremely underrated). every one is great, yes, even Pattison who probably will get lambasted but it just worked for me. A-.
this isnt a ditched “twist” from the script. it is a removed literal expression of something that is still very much implied in the film.
a film (Synecdoche) about the entirety of human existence is always going to be “too much”. if kaufman had pulled a tarantino and made it an unedited 3 hours or so you’d have a point. but Synechdoche is barely above 2hrs and is admirable for its boundless ideas suitably fit into just 2hrs.
baffled by “Orchid Thief is a good book, the movie was not.” Adaptation is even less of a...well, adaptation, than this movie is. comparing this movie and reid’s book is acceptable to a point but not those two.
Is Hopkins so consistently good that he is somehow underrated? Yes.
RIP to a weird but good one. Still nothing like playing Majora’s Mask in 3D anywhere. Super Mario 3D Land was great too. Memorable, if niche, experience that hopefully doesn’t go away for too long.
Fuzion Frenzy was way ahead of its time. Would be a streaming giant today.
