Some of Alfred's lines made me laugh - even some of Batman's responses were great ("I don't pitter-patter!")

Ha! No, he doesn't like playing it, he just enjoys watching me get frustrated as I fail repeatedly at killing the bosses.
I had the same reaction to the writing in Arkham Origins. Some of the incidental thug dialog is lovely.
I did try, but it turns out he doesn't enjoy exploding squirrels for some weird reason… (edit - obligatory "and in the game")
I'm planning on trying again in a couple of years, when he'll be able to follow and enjoy the plot a bit better.
I'll be playing Thifourf, I think. Crossing my fingers, been hearing some really mixed things about it.
Also, I'll be running a D&D game for my wife and six parents she's met over these last couple of years at school when picking up my son. I only know one of them, and apparently most of them will be trying…
Awesome. My 6yo son likes playing it, but there aren't enough monsters in it for his taste.
He usually watches all the boss fights from games in his IPad. He's made up boss monsters for Dark Souls IV through VI at this point, and about three variant pikmin types.
Ouch. I preordered on the strength of the previous entries (one of my favorite game series ever), and the new Deus Ex. Still, keeping expectations low for this one.
I love Exalted, though we found that the rules start falling apart at the higher power levels. Still, huge amounts of fun. Which edition?
This must have been mentioned somewhere among all of these comments, but "Slick Willie gets suited up, and he’s ready to take alley-oops from Scottie Pippen" sounds like the dirtiest thing ever.
I wish more games took cues from Shadow Hearts: Covenant, especially JRPGs. Especially its full-on, batshit, deranged lunacy.
That synopsis is adorable, and does a great job of poking fun at a mythology that's way too self-serious for its own good.
It also emphasizes just how hilariously convoluted the plot is. It almost feels like a parody of anime/JRPG scripts. I'm assuming that's unintended, though.
Lego City excellent. Charming, funny, and extremely generous - except that it doesn't have co-op, which is almost a deal-breaker. If you like the Lego games at all it's definitely something you should check out.
Two words: Weaponized Tits.
@avclub-17fc821acf8201df4d32d05fb05d0d4a:disqus : You got the wrong movie - You'll need to watch Snyder's r-rated version of the Martian Manhunter movie if you want green peaness.
Look out, Linda! he's got a watering can!
I like it quite a bit, except for the first two songs. I wouldn't blame anyone who gave up on the CD after those. And they even released Mercury as one of the singles…
The stone giant fight was my main problem with the movie - it's something the characters barely see in the book, something that adds to the world and the ambiance, and Jackson had to turn it to a Universal Studios ride…
Pretty emblematic of the whole movie, unfortunately. I liked it on the balance, but man it could…

This is one of the geekiest, nerdiest articles I've seen on the music section. Awesome work, Mr. Heller!
