Who could possibly hate on Richard Thompson?

Excelente!
Hace rato que espero que Justin al fin se decida a hacer un larga duracion - Conquistador fue uno de mis discos favoritos del dos mil siete.
Y a El Declive de Aventurambano, se dice "Si, lo es."

I can see the repetition killing it. Which is a shame, because those screenshots look lovely.

Carmageddon 2 was incredible - and the first time I remember seeing physics reasonably well implemented on a racing game.
And I am aware that there's already a failed firstie below this, so don't even try to stick that shit on me.

". I think one third of my work is with first-time directors because I think I should, you know?"
The guy's as awesome off-screen as he is on-screen!

I remember spitting my coke when Lemmy appeared (as a barge driver, was it?)
And also, Iggy Pop. What a bizarre movie.

Got to love the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance-likes (how's that as a name for a subgenre?)
Interestingly enough, Snowblind, the studio behind most of the good ones, is putting out a new Middle Earth game that looks like it might hit the same sweet spot (though fairly gritty and violent, so it may not be an option to

Haven't tried this one yet, but Torchlight was designed by the same people who did Diablo 1 and 2 (and the guy who made Fate, which was itself a great diablo clone)
Be warned, though- it's got no multiplayer, coop or otherwise, which is a damn shame. And I haven't tried its console iterations. On the other hand, it

Definitely not mindless. And a bit hard to get into.
May I also suggest Torchlight? It's available for cheap on most download services, and it's a lot of fun.

I dunno, he seems nice enough. However, he sounds as californian as you can get (to someone who's never set foot on California, at least)

Oh, come on. I call bullshyt!
Few games leverage their technical capabilities as well as crysis. And what other game allowed you to do something like, I dunno- activate speed mode, jump on top of a building, then switch to muscle mode and punch the ceiling -literally bringing the roof down on your enemies- to then

Getting a new graphics card for this and Crysis 2… can't wait. Can't wait!

I'd agree on Grim Fandango, but that's not really Point n' Click. /pedant

The levels are a lot more organic than on the first game, but they're reused to death - I don't think there are more than, say, twenty-five maps in the whole thing? (No, changing the position of unopenable doors is not acceptable for a game this big - at least change the fucking minimap, goddamit!). The loading times,

I've read a couple of Tom Holt novels (bought an omnibus with three of them on a friend's recommendation).
Not that I didn't enjoy them, but all I can recall of the experience of reading the books was constantly thinking "I should be re-reading Good Omens instead"…

I'm partial to Mapmaker, but damn Receivers was good. If there's something "uncontestedly catchier" than those any of those two songs, I'll be very (pleasantly) surprised.
Getting this as soon as I leave the office.

Must! Conform!

Well, I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something in the way the characters and the humor are handled that I find very Whedon-esque. It's nowhere as overt as in Uncharted, as someone mentioned, but there's definitely something there.

Quirk, how're you finding that?

Killzone 2 was fun in parts, but the campaign was a slog. It had all the idiocy of generic space-marine fps's, but none of the over-the-topness. And it took itself so god-damned serious…
Looks like at least this one fixed the second issue. I'll probably rent it… do you still play as a midget?
