Cardinal rule of automobiles, never add weight if at all possible. Cables that coil? Sure. Attached to the wall or charging station, not the car. Think of the non-coiling set up in your trunk as the emergency pair for charging, just if your battery died or you ran out of gas on an ICE vehicle.

This is a good point...but there have been instances where I have taken quotes back to these big city dealers with the high rent and they say “Oh yeah we can match that price.” Meaning they had the ability to offer it from the get-go, but chose not to.
We had one Yamaha dealer in the county for a long time and they were... difficult to work with. A few years back a nearby used-bike-and-repairs shop just a few miles down the highway from the Yamaha place became a licensed Yamaha dealer. THEY are absolute joys to deal with - I took out a FZ-07, FZ-09 and FZ-10…
