Would it have killed Ferrari to just keep producing the F40, exactly as is, forever? Price it at about 200k and sell it as their trackday darling. Omega puts out the same Speedmaster since the mid 60's, and it sells like crazy. In the same way, I don't think this car needs to ever be updated.

Looks to me like someone didn't do their math. Sure, there is a lot to just "feeling out" a jump, but as things get more and more dangerous, pulling out a piece of paper and at least getting very rough figures for the speed he should be going tends to help keep everyone healthy.

Agreed. No one should be surprised that the Z/28 handles the way it does. Seriously, any car with those components should tear up a track.

I would say Z/28 but if you know anything about Mark Stielow then it was no surprise how well that car handles.
