Do you guys get paid extra for Musk related stories? I mean, there has been ZERO new news today, yet a Tesla and a Musk story are on the front page... one stating that there is zero news, panic... and the other is this. something we all know he believes, with zero new info.

I had to google it as it was the first time I saw it... Of course, half the results are from the huff post.

While the car itself is mostly unaffected, the PERCIEVED resale value is more important than the actual condition of the car.

It should be tempered.

reminds me of the kids that choke to death in surgery because the parents just HAD to give their kids breakfast beforehand...

with the gearing ratio applied, that solid piece of steel jammed in a gear is more than adequate to keep a stationary vehicle stopped on a hill.
The true problem is how the electromechanical engagement of it is unreliable.

I agree. On one side, you have them all going in together with a supplier on a “standard” part to save money. On another side, they could be using that influence to impact contracts in an illegal way. Its already boring, and someone needs to go through all these meetings and decide what is possible collusion, and what

Isnt it odd that parts swap between your Bosch dishwasher and Bosch stove, but none of the GE parts fit either one?
COLLUSION!

I would buy this car for $3500... but for 7k, its too much for what it is (to me)

to be fair, as long as they kept it out of detonation, it will probably last a very long time. the weakest link is the cast piston. Keep it cool, and don’t beat the hell out of the piston with detonation, and it will probably be fine.

Without the complicated hoses and lines, the whole mess would explode.

up next: Golf lobby wants to change color of balls to make them more visible. How many people have to be killed by golf balls landing on their heads before we make this change?

are you fucking stupid? AC works exactly the same if its functioning properly.

HEY ASSHOLE! SOMEONE HAS TO PUT THOSE CONES UPRIGHT AND IN THE BOX!

Exactly... I didnt say there were NEVER any in the entire history of F1... the fact you have to go back that far proves my point... not to mention how much more drivers were exposed back then.

Being proactive instead of reactive is great for your industry... but when it comes to motorsports you can be so proactive that it takes away from the sport. death is part of it. get over it.

actually the numbers hes talking about, show that debris RARELY goes flying. vehicles on top of vehicles rarely happen, and when they do it still rarely causes injury. also, flipping over is very well protected by the rollbar and tub, and this provides no additional protection, but may trap a driver when a car is

Hey. I will put my ass in the car and risk my own life.
someone get me an F1 car here! I need to prove someone on the internet wrong!!

I am a safety tech for a major racing association.

Actually, I take a risk assessment of each...
For daily drivers, I like ABS, traction control and I have accepted some airbags.
ABS lets the average person brake and steer.
Traction control keeps idiots from spinning out.
Airbags on the sides can make up for a lack of crash structure and protect the head from glass,
