And that little boy grew up to be… Mark Zuckerberg. Ironic, huh?

Zeke said pissed last week! Yay 9 PM Central time slot!

I think they established that Joel's parents are dead, back when Sydney's goldfish or turtle or whatever died and there was the God discussion in their family.

Eh, Zeek was respectful and Joel needs the help. Joel's obviously not going to talk to anyone on his own. His own parents are dead, so nothing there. Even his boss is a business only ballbuster. He needs to have people shake him off his proud train to nowhere.

TV Logic, the godparents have to be the Bravermans even though Jasmine's family is more religious and shown to be involved in her life too. Also, you can have more than one set of godparents.

The universe revolving around the main characters. Tough to overcome that one.

I believe it's been established that Joel's parents are dead. The reason why he doesn't believe in God. No idea about siblings.

Nice.

I disagree. I think this is great writing, because I never anticipated it.

Joel was grumpy?

Haven't read the book, but Beaver was a better show than Father Knows Best or Donna Reed, even though the latter shows may have been more popular at the time or lasted longer.

Here's my perspective. Looking at the two characters, the writers or the devil or whomever decided to test the happy couple, Joel and Julia, with temptation. The two characters Ed and Pete were introduced to help accomplish this.

The writers have thrown a lot of obstacles in the path of both Joel and Julia, and tempted them with sins that they've both succumbed to. But there are still plenty of episodes left. They will start getting some breaks, the right things will start being said, Joel will probably quit or be fired from his family

No, there was one with Sydney, too. I think just a general God concept, not organized religion like with Jabbar.

I don't understand why people see Crosby in that house. He couldn't take care of his much smaller house, so put him in the bigger, more hard to manage house, with no money.

I suppose the power struggle that is dooming the marriage to date is Julia's refusal to cede power to Joel on the Ed Brooks issue. The infraction should be a healable one, and Julia's actually doing a decent job of putting it in the past and feeling remorse, but Joel wasn't buying it and attempted to seize power by

No one who's that angry doesn't care.

Jasmine slept with Crosby while she was still dating Dr. Joe, so I suppose she cheated on Dr. Joe.

Joel is just sort of sad right now. Julia really hurt him and didn't clean it up. He's trying to stand on his anger and pride, and it just isn't enough.

She has tried to engage him, but the Ed Brooks thing is too much for him to deal with, and that's an issue she wants to sweep under the rug.
