It’s an episode of a children’s show that will bring adults to tears.

That episode broke my heart. Especially when the Black Mercy attached itself to Batman. I have the book I knew it was going to happen but damn still powerful. Young Justice was amazing as well. Two Brilliant animated Series.

It was good enough he actually allowed them to put his name on it.

As an episode summary, it’s like: “Whaaaa..?” In practice, it’s like: “Wow. Amazing.” Go. Watch it. Now.

The second episode adapted the classic Alan Moore story “For the Man Who Has Everything”. It was good enough he actually allowed them to put his name on it.

CCH Pounder does her best work as Amanda Waller in that episode (which is no mean feat, she was incredible all of the time).

While Unlimited was on, I really tried to spread the gospel of just how fantastically well it was written. It was a comic book show promoted for children but meant to be enjoyed by adults. You hit the high points from the series and “Epilogue” is a masterpiece. Also, big kudos to the writers for the long story arc

They should have had an entire The Question show. “The plastic tips at the ends of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister!”

I mean ... it really does.

I don’t know who Zoom will be revealed to be but I’m pretty sure that it’s John Wesley Shipp under the mask. The eyes are a dead give away.

Two possible reasons for that IMO:

My favorite portrayal of Alfred is from the new TV show, by far the strongest character on that show, and the relationship between himself and a young Bruce is endearing. I really hope they clean up that mess for season 2, such wasted potential.

According to Wikipedia, Roddenberry originally intended her to be nothing but Eye-candy with 4(!) Breasts, so you can thank him for that bit of 60s chauvinism.

Who you callin' a hippy?

Whereas Alfred is the most perfect bromance ever — he cooks, he cleans, he does laundry and a little light fetish tailoring between field surgery. Oh, and he's totally cool when you're out all night with that Joker skank.

She already came back in Gail Simone's Atom run as the chief of Ivy Town

Except Olivia Benson can't juggle career and relationships — although she's a magnet for assholes.

Funny thing, the character was actually brought back in Gail Simone's The All New Atom.

My favorite part about Lady Cop is that she has the maniacal crime-fighting drive of Batman, but is saddled with a shitty boyfriend instead of Alfred.

I think we've found a superhero role for Piper Perabo. :)
