Nope, @Matthew_Blanchette:disqus - they were in both.
Nope, @Matthew_Blanchette:disqus - they were in both.
@muskratboy:disqus - no, it's not. It's the kind of scummy macho fantasy that makes Ayn Rand's work look subtle by comparison.
@michaelweyer:disqus and @avclub-92c9b96871c64bbb5fc1913d3aec11b5:disqus - he's far too easy to cast as The Bullying Obnoxious Version of an Alpha Male, and far too many writer/directors use him that way because he can do what they wish they could if their Dominance fantasies went beyond typing in their Mom's…
Naw, he gave up coke for weed a while back, @avclub-9972c46d0d80cfb94c14d0f62345b01e:disqus !
Naw, he gave up coke for weed a while back, @avclub-9972c46d0d80cfb94c14d0f62345b01e:disqus !
It's really good, @avclub-e56eea9a45b153de634b23780365f976:disqus - you can get it on Amazon Video, iTunes, even YouTube.
I think most people know NCIS is BS, @Octagon7788:disqus - otherwise, we'd hear about the real-life NCIS solving crimes a lot more often in the news!
@Pgoodso:disqus - want some ice for that sick burn?
Not - really, @wilhemvonhapsburg:disqus. I had been afraid that was where Ben Stiller was going to go with that, but between what he wrote and Robert Downey, Jr.'s performance, it became instead a critique of White actors playing non-White characters, and Downey's Kirk Lazarus being empty without a role he could lose…
I don't, @disqus_UpU25Evi1h:disqus - given it was common in both the US and US to put White actors in Yellowface or Brownface, and defend it, as late as the early 21st Century!
My big problem with Superman III was, Who the FUCK was Richard Pryor trying to be? He has all the character beats to be the villain - but he never does anything out of a sense of villainy and he's a big Superman fan. The writing of his character's also so awful you never believe for a moment he knows the first thing…
Probably, @avclub-5cf17b0ff8509b348b1eeecb34e9be37:disqus - while it was…okay, I guess, I kind of got fed up with all the Noble Sacrifice Posturing Routh's Superman did, apparently at Bryan Singer's direction.
Yeah, but since I'm an American, living in America - I tend to put things in loud, offensive soundbites, @Lurky_McLurk:disqus ! It's the only way people listen to you any more….
Yeah, @count_erpoint:disqus - I have no idea WTF Stoker put Dracula in Transylvania, when the historical Vlad Tepes was (heh - yeah, "was") a Prince of Walachia.
Isn't Weird Al also promoting a PAC or charity based on this song?
So, you'd be good with my saying "FUCK TRANSYLVANIA!" because Count Dracula comes from there?
Actually, no, @davereinholdt:disqus - because the acronym starts with a "F", it's an Indeterminate Article for a Consonant.
Thanks for that!
That's his old ringtone – he finally figured out how to change it.
So you think it's less FUCK AMERICA! than DIE, GREEDHEAD CORPORATE SCUM!, @Lurky?
