Yeah, but she'll probably show up as Jessica Jones's new sidekick on Netflix, @SisterMaryFrancis:disqus !

There are several White Tigers, @disqus_BenGrimm:disqus - is that close?

The good news is, at least Zack Snyder would never get to crap all over direct another superhero movie, @dirtside:disqus ….

@disqus_tvGbH84nVT:disqus - Streisand needs co-stars up to her STAR! weight to be convincing as a :"regular person" - like Robert Redford in The Way We Were, where his star power plus her star power equaled…two believable normal people.

You're right, @butters911:disqus ! I'd totally forgotten about Mad Mel's Masochism Tangoes….

The other difference between the two is that Tom Cruise never really lets go of his image, even when he thinks he is - and Robert Downey, Jr. has no problem letting go and just - Just Doing It, Mannn!

Stop Tempting Me, @wrencher86:disqus !

no living American movie star gets more mileage out of putting his characters—or, in the case of the stunt-driven Mission: Impossible movies, his own fragile human body—through the wringer. Self-punishment is the engine that drives him.

You're well ahead of me then, @avclub-146bc30c345d31f3468fec764a1970e1:disqus ! I was able to follow what was going on while watching the movie, but after it was over - I couldn't have told you any more about cricket than i could have beforehand.

@benfoldsfanin3d:disqus - could be, but I would've sworn I read an interview that when asked "Why mock This Island Earth for MST3K: The Movie?", Mike Nelson responded, "Have you seen it? It's really not any good."

Oh, I know, @StichFace! You were going to use it as a dorm room decoration - same as almost every college student I know did.

Not my first call, @avclub-e3f5ab7f02122f95b801e13e2c586d6a:disqus - but, sure, why not?

Cassavetes films weren't by any standards B-Movies, or even Schlock or Exploitation movies, @disqus_hde7I14XwM:disqus. They were ART FILMS! You could tell by the endless scenes of improv'd dialogue that just kept going on…and on…and on….

Given a couple decades, all you ever remember is the best of a decade, @mahatmarandy:disqus - it's like an All-Classic Rock Station. Nobody remembers utter pieces of corporate-excreted shit like Damnation Alley or Can't Stop the Music (okay, technically that's a 1980 release, but it feels Seventies to me!).

@timothyyoung:disqus - not just eras, either. It's amazing what you can understand about different cultures from watching their movies - not the ones their countries' leadership want you to watch, but the ones everybody's watching anyway!

Is that the one Damiano made, @avclub-920530cb8744c679e3a2ece84f1d5ce4:disqus ?

If only gangs in NYC were that awesome for real, @disqus_EpUfB0cQuA:disqus.

Hey, I lived in NYC during the Eighties and Nineties, @avclub-920530cb8744c679e3a2ece84f1d5ce4:disqus ! I loved every dirty, broken-down, dangerous minute of it.

Hey, @disqus_hde7I14XwM:disqus ! I loved my Shrimp-colored polyester leisure suit, with the Black Qiana shirt with the roses on it, four-inch platform shoes and Jafro! I even had the look-close-or-you'll-miss-it sideburns and wispy mustache….
