On a deep dive pop culture site like the AV Club, @TheDanLevy? Actually, yes we do.

::sob!:: I miss Snart!

That entire sequence was comedy gold, though I would've been happy if Victor Garber had just done a whole concert, while Mick mugged every Nazi there "for intel", rifling through their pockets for whatever he could find.

Oh, I know, @disqus_DT8q1VdPN9:disqus - I was agreeing with you.

I think it's more that Hip-Hop is such an intrinsically American Black experience that I'm wondering what somebody who's neither can bring to it that an American Person of Color couldn't, @avclub-d6eab33032ebeb4e1f8a5891a29427df:disqus.

Hence "comic as well as spooky", @larrykidkill:disqus .

No argument there, @avclub-7f389db64be5931a99231c3f7ce90288:disqus .

…Or, as you just pointed out, @olaf78:disqus - it could totally embrace the batshit crazy like Sleepy Hollow at its best did! Now there would be a Timeless I'd enjoy - our Super-History Professor either finding out Everything She Knows About History Is Wrong, or being so up on the Secret History behind the Official

@disqus_fksYcokPja:disqus and @avclub-17ffa8fad012a66eba508715ad0fec7a:disqus :

@TaumpyTearrs:disqus - yes, but did you freak the first time you had to wear a leotard?

Yeah, @erichenwoodgreer:disqus and @disqus_DT8q1VdPN9:disqus - what High School has "goody two-shoes" musical theater dorks? The Drama Departments/Clubs I knew were hotbeds of morning drinking, recreational drug use, straight sex, gay sex, kinky sex - but not during the show, because that was Unprofessional!

OMG, it's on now - my wife is insisting on giving it a try.

Yep, @SuperDevil4000:disqus - won three Tonys (Best Book, Best Original Score, Best Musical Direction).

@avclub-9a67388c3330ed9344542c9a0e95b865:disqus - re: the Catholic HS's Aida:

@bradvalachovic:disqus - right.

@disqus_j7gEzBtVbJ:disqus - I think because like any good horror movie villain, Frank N. Furter is so charismatic you're drawn to him even at his worst. It's like Dracula - he's a bloodsucking fiend, but the way actors from Lugosi to Lee to Langella played him there was also something undeniably attractive there.

Cool, @disqus_j7gEzBtVbJ:disqus !

I think everybody who does Frank imitates Tim Curry, @erichenwoodgreer:disqus - which I'm sure saddens Curry that he's not up there doing it!

I kind of wish it was better, @olaf78:disqus - didn't play so light with historical accuracy, and had an antagonist who was more interesting than just "Villain Fucking With History For - Reasons!"
