That could be possible since It's been almost 10 years since they released R/S, I still remember being hyped up for those games. I wish I could feel that hype again someday, oh well, I guess that was the best part about being a kid.

I know for some of the remakes, they have added new side quests and such to them, (I remember Fire red and leaf green had those islands you could go to and some other things I can't remember and HG and SS had quite a few new side quests I think)
