Hah! I guess it's true what they say: "I'm right and you're wrong". Whoops, I mean: "different strokes for different folks".

I was actually pleasantly surprised at the lack of gore movies on the list. A good half of them are atmosphere-over-the-red-stuff movies.

HotD is a great, wonderful, eerie, atmospheric movie. The only thing I don't like is the every ending which does not fit at all.

What did the people who watched it and enjoyed do to *deserve* to keep watching it?

Goyer thinks it should've been on cable.

Commercials are not shows and How I Met Your Mother is not an FX show.

Of course there were plenty of classic horror films from the 80s but that doesn't change the *fact* that the trashy reputation of scream queens comes directly from that era. The scream queens of the late 90s and early 2000s were generally of the post-modern

Rewatching the embedded scene I was transported back to the theatre I saw it in, at the world premiere at TIFF, and how completely embarrassed I was knowing that the filmmaker was in attendance.
