Pillars of Eternity! I couldn’t get into it when I first tried the game a year or so ago and couldn’t find a class I liked, but after trying about 30 minutes with a Chanter last weekend I’m having a fabulous time.

The book ends when the old world moralist kills himself after discovering his religious fervor is absolutely indistinguishable from the new orgiastic frenzies. It’s hard to read that as an argument in favor of conservative values.

That wasn’t at all how the campaign went though. Ossof mostly ignored Trump, instead campaigning on issues (albeit primarily centrist issues). His opponent primarily campaigned against Nancy Pelosi, painting Ossof as the puppet candidate of the “ultra-liberal” boogeymen.
