The problem with going neutral and new is that no one takes you seriously.

I know this is a weird, tangential part of that to fixate on but holy hell is that an off-putting use of the word rope.

The story telling in DA:I is also just deeply questionable. It tells the introductory sequence through godawful magically induced flashbacks rather than just having you play the two days before the conclave the way Origins would have done.

I mean it’s basically just a highly formalized “Nuh-uh,” which was their previous go to.

I mean, Bernie is great, but even he has some questionable votes in his record.

I can’t see that name written down without parsing is as “never” spoken in an incredibly breathy voice.

I mean, given that Leahy has been in the Senate since 1975 (six years before Sanders held any public office) it sort of makes sense. They’re also basically the same age so it’s sort of a toss-up on who retires first at all (though probably Leahy)

This was really a great year for firaxis games and I’m glad it paid off for them. They released a pair of thoughtful, lovingly crafted sequels that really managed to take the best of their previous offerings and sharpen them into really engaging experiences.

Dragonfall is honestly one of my all time favorite RPGs. I’ve got Hong Kong sitting around waiting for a really good binge opportunity.

Yeah, whenever I start to be grumpy about kickstarter in general I remember that I’ve gotten some solid gold board games out of it.

Yeah, I backed Battletech even though I am on a long term kickstarter moratorium. Harebrained gets the kickstarter platform, knows how to set realistic goals, and has produced a string of finished games which have made iterative improvements in quality.

The voters on the right liked the trump no filter angle because they were running attacks on people the voters already didn’t like. Bullying people the voters aren’t already pitted against doesn’t fucking work and casts you as the villain.

Yup! There’s no reason to do this beyond making yourself feel better and that’s NOT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON.

Nah, the way to do this is to have a pleasant conversation with her and then at the end shake her hand, say “Well it’s an honor to meet the new First Lady,” and just walk away.
