What kind of a maniac buys a sponge just because it has been cut into a shape vaguely like a microphone?

“We’re putting a bunch of new regulations on the refugee admittance process so ... *throws dart over shoulder* ... the FDA no longer inspects meat packing plants and ... *spins enormous wheel* ... don’t bother publishing the BMBL 6.
I think the thing that sells it for me (I’ll admit to quitely liking the show) is that Martha and Snoop seem to have a really genuine fondness for each other? I like it because I get the vibe that beyond all the odd couple bullshit each honestly likes and respects the other.
The republican who came second is Ted Fuckin’ Cruz.
Tyranny, then Shadowrun Hong Kong, then maybe I’ll get around to playing Pillars of eternity, then make a big pile of miscellaneous crpgs and roll around on it like a dog.
You’re the only person who really understands me.
I think that gerrymandering has nothing to do with fraud in presidential elections, ballot tampering is difficult and requires countless participants, and that if widespread voter intimidation occurred it was about the stealthiest voter intimidation of all time.
You know exit polls are FAMOUSLY unreliable, right? I’m as happy as anyone to hunt for a way out of a Trump presidency but exit poll mismatch is a might thin reed to hang your hopes from.
It’s actually the website for a talk radio group (which is not a whole lot better).
I mean christ at least the nazis had the basic discernment required to pick a fashion brand with an ounce of goddamn style.
That is an inordinately good idea. Thank you for suggesting it.
I think a real problem that the democrats aren’t addressing is how increasingly crippled by regionalism we are. The Midwest went for Sanders by startling margins, but he was essentially a non-starter in the New York and California elections (controlling a huge number of delegates) despite intense campaigning in both…
That’s what I’m assuming? I’m planning to try back in a month in the hopes that their call/email systems will be less inundated. I was mostly expressing frustration that even the lists of organizations needing volunteers often don’t seem to be able to put people in contact with volunteer opportunities.
That’s absolutely true, and I certainly meant my own comment to speak to a larger institutional message rather than any kind of personal critique.
That’s a nice list but I have contacted several of the organizations on it that mention volunteer opportunities and none of them have gotten back to me with something I can actually do. Not even an introductory meeting to attend.
This has also been my problem. I tried to contact three organizations that I was interested in volunteering for and all either failed to get back to me or had nothing in my (large metropolitan) area.
Yeah, for some inexplicable reason it’s hard to get a human research review board to approve that sort of study.
Wait, hypnosis is an actual thing?
I think tabby still has a point though. Surrendering anyone who doesn’t already agree with you to the opposition isn’t a winning strategy, even when they’re denying your fundamental humanity. It fucking hurts to engage those people, but if we don’t then the other side will.
