I agree. If I were buying a car to track, I’d buy a Mustang. If I were buying a daily driver, then probably a Challenger.

Is it possible that the panoramic sunroof has killed the convertible? I mean you get such a large opening in an SUV now. Does that make sense?
I get your point, but I still feel like cars that are designed on CAD have that ‘clinical’ look and feel to them. It’s not hard to tell them apart, and this is certainly one of those cases.
Since when is AMG a technical partner to Lotus? Is it because Geely also has some stakes in Daimler?
If there are any designers out here, I have a question for you: can you tell that a car was first sketched out, or directly modeled with a software? As someone who has zero clue, this car just screams CAD software to me.
I believe the most powerful WRX was the CS400 with 395 hp. It was a limited edition model with just 75 examples produced:
I am confused by this car. When I first saw it, I thought it was a rendering. It has the face and ass of a modern car, but the profile of something out of 2005-2010. Think Lotus Evora.
You think that’s confusing? Now try to make sense of McLaren’s lineup. I’m still trying to wrap my head around what an Artura is. I had totally forgotten there was a ‘McLaren GT’ until Wikipedia reminded me. They were selling both a McLaren GT and 570GT until recently. Get this: they had a 675LT and now a 765LT (not…
I would agree generally. However, I won’t echo that statement just yet for super cars which have an ‘experimental’ or ‘unique’ quality to them. That includes the Valkyrie with its insane aero and screaming engine. The AMG with the F1 engine. The Senna’s function over form design and track capabilities. The…
I swear. And the sedan they suggested is the most boring sedan in the midsize class by far.
I don’t live in America, but do people really race on stoplights, or is this an internet tall tale? I can’t imagine a 9-second Tesla taking off at a stoplight without serious repercussions.
I can't comment from my laptop anymore. I have to use my phone every single time. Can't find pending comments. Links to individual posts don't work anymore. It's completely shot. Also, there are more ads than actual content now on each page.
Absolutely. I don’t know who this ‘Elizabeth Blackstack’ person is (because it’s confusing with all these new people), but the first few sentences of this piece are absurd. If her entire premise behind this car being a ‘hot mess’ is its high service costs then other people have explained it much better than I ever…
Wait. Doesn’t this also mean there are two abandoned Chevy Suburbans and a fuel truck in this forest?
I need to correct myself here. That thing looks way older than 2004 (the 7er)
This just looks outdated even by 2004 standards. The design language is late 90s, max 2000. Yes, I am aware that the E65 and other Bangles came out in 2002, but this is more similar to the first X5 which was very much a product of the late 90s.
Is the iX a dedicated EV? I was reading that the chassis is basically a modified CLAR. But the cutaway pictures show a dedicated skateboard like battery placement and electrical components like most dedicated EVs. Not sure
I thought they would have escape doors in the form of manholes. That's literally the first thing I asked myself when I saw this, "what happens if you get stuck in the middle of the tunnel?' And also, what if a car runs out of charge or breaks down?
I think the BMWs not making it across was the point of entertainment though
I think that's an M-Sport. Probably a 520i with an M-Sport package
