I really liked the books (there are two more in the “series”) and am hoping it is good. “Set it up” was surprisingly not terrible. “Kissing booth” was very okayish (surprisingly). Can’t wait to watch this.

He was great, but it felt a bit more like an impression of the actor from the movie - I mean, every character was, to an extent.

“Waitress” is one of the best movie to musicals I’ve seen - it’s a bit of a tear-jerker, but also hilariously funny at times. Music by Sara Bareiles, so if you dig her, you’ll love this too.

I also thought the way they used the video screens to be the set was really interesting/different.

10/10 would watch (and listen to the soundtrack) again.

Saw it in DC during its pre bway run and kind of loved it. The songs were great and the cast is killer. I can confirm that Janis is the best character.
