Oh I think he was a terrible host - Like it made sense for his broadway/theatre cred, but generally it wasn’t particularly funny. It was schtick.

Dear Evan Hansen IS fantastic. It’s also the only show of the nominated best musicals that I’d seen.

They’ve tried different things over the years - I know they’ve showed short clips and had the actors do the scenes up there before too. I imagine it’s harder because shows have shorter runs now-a-day.

Dear Evan Hansen is also a beautiful and devastating show. Highly recommend.

He’s got some theatre chops, can sing and dance, and he spent like 10 years as the Artistic Director of the Old Vic in London.

This show hit me right in the feels. My husband and I watched this with our dog, and it’s so touching and funny at the same time. And Lucas Neff was almost unrecognizable!

So a friend of mine was a couple of months postpartum at another friend’s bachelorette party. She wore a blousy tube top and had a breast pump in the back of the limo. She went back to the limo to just relieve the pressure, and when riding home she turtled in to her shirt to pump. :-D
