@BigGreenMonster: But not nearly as many copies actually get stolen as compared to sold. When your looking at 1/8 copies being pirated on say the 360 and more copies being pirated than bought for PC from a Business standpoint PC is a fucking joke.

@tetracycloide: I'm saying there's no way to beat the pirates other than to stop making games for them to play.

Honestly I think at this point we just need to accept that there is really no point in developing for PC if you dont want people stealing your hard work.

@Hey_Blinkon: That is why we have the media machine.... if people weren't convinced the other side was "evil" a war couldn't happen.

@Tayruh: Did we play the same game? The story had me on the edge of me seat the entire time.

@herogear: As someone whose worked game retail for far too long the surprising answer to this problem is that in-game content for pre-order bonuses was actually more the gamers fault than the companies who make/sell them. While your hardcores ate up art books and figurines most of your casuals wouldn't pre-order

Day 1 purchase... and is it just me or did sega become a decent publisher again overnight? I'm buying more sega titles this year than the last 3! Bayonetta, AvP, Alpha Protocol etc.

@Archaotic: If carlos wasn't so fat she could be....

@A-Rude-Hero: Well many folks like anime and I challenge you to find any gamer worth his salt who hasn't played any halo. As such a fair number of folks may pick this up because of the familiarity. Just because they don't have a 360 currently doesn't mean they never had an original xbox or for that matter a PC (Which

Picked it up for 18 bucks on Blu today at Futureshop (canada) So far pretty decent what Ive seen of it.

@Alex_Mexico: While I grant you UC2 and Infamous were both fantastic....

"The moral of the story, don't even joke about shooting kids at school over Xbox Live, or the Mounties will get you."

Maybe my translation tool is broken but this reads "We went for the most profitable platform allowed to us and didn't want to waste resources on the 17 copies the PC version would sell." Seems we're hearing this line a lot lately.

@AncientUnknown1: It's amazing what happens when you milk a license till people puke on sight.

@c4pt_chunk: Sorry to burst your paranoid little bubble but theft is EXACTLY the reason we gut the product. When I opened my first store; they did it in such a rush that for the first 4 days we did in fact have live product on the floor while we tried to get it all processed..... in those 4 days we shrunk out almost 3

Actually kinda stoked that Treyarch is making the next one. That is 60 bucks I save toward a better game this holiday season!

@gamesarentevil: The logic is he's being punished as a distributor not a user

How is punishing someone who knowingly broke the law a bad thing? This isn't some grandmother who had one of her kids download a song not knowing the rules... It's a hacker who cost Nintendo a lot of money. Frankly I'd like to see far more of these rulings popping up.
