You know what? I ache at the lack of Neverwinter Nights shout outs on this article. All this shooter open world what have you is great, but give us a new D&D game that has the flexibility and unique structure of Neverwinter.

I mean, Bob Saget is a dirty motherf*cker, that’s for sure. Watch his joke in “The Aristocrats” documentary.
Except that normally, I (and presumably many people) don’t watch movies if I think they might be garbage. It takes a certain kind of viewer to actively seek out what they view as terrible movies; it’s why they’re contrarians.
Mainly, it gave me the realization that I’ve had enough of the Republic/Empire battle, and that it’s time for Star Wars to try something brave, and new, without that structural framework.
I’m not seeing Rob Bricken’s Transformers FAQ posts, and that makes me sad.
Hot take: Give us another Last Witch Hunter instead!
So I’m curious, and please don’t take this negatively. What drew you to Planet Fitness? I have a blinding hatred of them, but I know they offer cheap memberships.
My point was that the “legend” stuff aside, Luke as a character is inherently a person who believes in the good of others. That’s all. Does he fight Vader? Sure, after being pushed and taunted by the Emperor, one of the most manipulative Sith to ever live. That’s a mistake, that’s a failing. And that was years ago,…
I have no problem with old characters dying. I don’t even have a problem with Luke dying, to be honest.
Sweet baby Jehoshaphat, what happened to simply asking someone you like out on a date? If you feel like you’re getting along, and you’re attracted, just ask someone if they’d like to have dinner that weekend. If they say no, just move your life right along. People get ‘distressed’ all the time, from a variety of…
I don’t get it. I mean, I do get the small dopamine rush you experience in posting a public “hot take,” but why? Why not wait until it’s released, and then provide a reasoning for your opinion? Is the temptation to damper the spirits of others so alluring?
I think the fact that Mark made Rian question and work through his interpretation of the character bodes well for the story. As we’ve seen, the worst versions of Star Wars come through when no one is willing to ‘say no,’ or at least question the viability of plot and character.
As I mentioned in the other thread, I’m 100% on the female skywalker clone bandwagon.
I’m going with the clone theory! Of either Anakin or Luke (via his missing hand). So she would be a Skywalker, from....another perspective.
What? The article states, very clearly I might add, that “Each of these characters feel more complex than the story around them and, as a result, they are the story.”
Thanks for giving this a different point of view! I’ll probably see it now.
Out of all of you, who can bench the most?
Jesus, Affleck. Please look less excited, you’re way too happy for this grim-dark picture.
Semi-hot take: I thought Dracula Untold was actually pretty good, if a bit ham-fisted. What’s more, I thought it would have had a great tie in the rest of the Universal plan, provided they managed to make more movies.
Going to hot take here: The Kingkiller Chronicles suck, and Rothfuss by no means deserves a TV show for his nonsense.
