Yeah this is the definitive ending, I believe there were other seasons where they did not know if it would be renewed or not, but this is the only time that it’s been intended to be the end.

I played it when my sister was 8, and she laughed when Sephiroth made his *point* at the end of disc 1. I mean, literally cackling like a wicked witch. Funny how they had no problems with the button mashing action game they decided to call Final Fantasy 16 getting an M rating and marketing it as if it was a Final Fantasy game, but they want to make sure the Final Fantasy 7 remake series stays in the T rating.
