yeah, I agree with you, it felt unnatural that they took this long to figure out, and seemingly wouldn’t have if Oliver wasn’t declaring his love for dips. 

I don’t have any theories this season. I’m just going along for the ride, but i’m not buying Donna as the killer. Why commit murder when you can simply fire someone?
