Major props to that guy, I did something very similar on my first planet except after getting all the species I took off. Reading Kirk’s review of his second playthrough gave me new life and I’m on a quest to land in a system and just absorb it, I too want to get my inventory in check.
He’s gonna kick himself when he gets to a planet with gravitino balls and realizes how inefficient gold is.
I’m only a few hours in, haven’t left my planet because I want to fully explore it and because IT’S GOT SO MUCH GOLD. This will be my inspiration to continues on this path.

Part of this is his own fault to be fair.
