So then the other, bigger streamers who did the exact same thing should suffer the same consequence, no? Which is the point of the article.
Server connectivity for stat tracking and the game functionality are two separate things. Click retry. If that doesn’t work, then continue offline. It is going to overwrite your progress when you do transfer so there is no point in worrying about if you are playing in offline mode or not. Think of it as a practice…
And you can play Hitman 3 regardless of server issues. No part of H3 is unplayable. The only real point to having the previous maps in 3 is so you don’t have to swap discs. I get it, it took me 24h to transfer myself and it was annoying. The system they have to do so is a convoluted mess but lets not act like the game…
that this was an unintended side effect of Valhalla’s new Yuletide celebration
Just craft and break down the Maxdoc mk3, its an epic healing item that you use common/uncommon components to make and gives common/uncommon/rare/epic components when dismantled. Still time consuming but a bit of a shortcut compared to upgrading components directly through rare and epic. Until they fix the crafting,…
Alot. Im 55 hours in on my playthrough and I pickup and breakdown everything as well as crafting things just to break them down to get the legendary components and I am still only at lvl 16 crafting. I cant say for certain but I would assume it is a very real possibility.
Been playing it on XSX, 50 hrs or so into it and I’ve only had two or three crashes so far and some GPU freakout with visual texture glitching a couple times which usually preceded the crash.
Dark Souls II feels like fast food: It tastes okay in small doses and will do in a fix, but it’s mostly an imitation of something better. (Unless you like Souls PvP, then this game rules.)
“Shortcut ahead”
Huh... don’t recall hearing about that. It makes sense with the cross gen compatibility and since there isn’t going to be next gen exclusive titles for a couple years. Guess I just didn’t put 2 and 2 together on that one.
Only current gen versions are being released? Unless I missed something...
The issue of crunch culture exists outside the vacuum of a single company and a single six week period. This instance may not be particularly egregious but the over all issue and the effects it can have on staff is much larger. Don’t be willfully ignorant of the topic nor the negative costs it can incur on those…

I never said anything about concern being overblown...
Again with the hyperbole. You do not need to keep them “running all the time.” As it isn’t a true statement, the argument falls flat. Look, I’m not trying to be rude or combative so if I came off as such, I apologize. Admittedly it was late for me so I was a bit tired. I was trying to get you to reflect on why you…
While your points are valid, it doesn’t quite apply to the one I was making regarding the OP.
It’s a shame that there isn’t much in the way of options but that in no way whatsoever means people have to keep giving them money. These are not essential products or services and they don’t control the only means of production... they can’t control the market unless people let them.
While i can understand the exhaustion of remembering usernames and passwords, its still better than having a single one with a monopoly on a given market. More launchers and storefronts means less stagnation. Do they always get it right, definitely not, but it’s still better than the alternative.
