Stealth force mode isn't really new, it existed in WFC. They just didn't call it that. You could strafe and fire guns until you held down a button and the guns went away and the wheels came out letting you go forwards much faster.

What added security does steam have that a physical copy doesn't (assuming you're not prone to losing your things, that is)? Most games on steam use steam DRM in addition to whatever DRM the retail version uses, minus cd checks.

I don't get why people are annoyed by the paywall. I just started getting news from other places. It's not like NYT is the only source of news on the internet.

@sansa: Why not buy retail?

Hope it's better than the one that came with DA:O. That was barely cloth. It felt almost like some kind of weird paper.

@UKStory135: It would be hell except that now that it's free to play the game is flooded with other noobs. My friend (who has been playing since it was released) was on last night and after an hour of playing he had 300 kills and 10 deaths

@skillmore: I bet that was their plan all along, introducing the store was just their way of testing things out to see if it was viable.

The backplate on my iPhone 4 that I use for work already feels kind of loose. I bet if I dropped it on something hard the glass back would crack rather easily since they were too cheap to make it out of gorilla glass like the screen. My Nexus One has been dropped several times. Still feels sturdy as ever.

@Amnesiac85: Why would you want it on PSN if you already have a physical copy? That's almost like the kid I saw at Gamestop buying Halo Reach at the midnight launch. He bought one standard, one limited and one legendary copy of the game, all for himself. I was like "Dude, you know that the legendary edition has

@DrWilysMoustache: And you can't take it to your friends house and play it on his PS3.

@LucasReis: Brazil will just start taxing online sales once sales tax revenue starts dropping. They're already trying to do that here in America.

Console games, especially PS3 games, suck for digital distribution. It's usually more expensive than retail and the games are big. You can't fit very many on those tiny hard drives they put in consoles. Plus, you can't take the game over to your friends house. You have to bring your whole console or its hard drive.

My biggest beef with Crysis 2 was that it shied away from some of the more open worlds found in the first crysis. YEah, you could approach most situations with more than one method from different angles, but it felt more set up and they told you what your options were at each new location. In Crysis 1 it was up to me

I was 10 at the time, but very tech savvy.

When you set up a server you had to set it up as co-op and choose one of the single player maps. This is in the PC version released back in 1996. I have no idea if the XBLA version has it or not.

They should add an option to let me watch an MPEG-2 version of the stream. High bandwidth usage and ugly picture all in one!

Oh god they're playing on a console!

What we need is Co-Op just like in Duke 3D. That would be fun.

@LuZeke: Same here. It's slow, boring, and I couldn't figure out the trick to the combat. I know a lot of people prefer it for not being a linear corridor shooter like most stuff on the market, but I would rather have a linear game that keeps me entertained the entire time I play than a game that only lets me have fun
