@Bathtub Toaster: I personally don't like any of these motion control solutions. They feel inaccurate and gimmicky. I'll take a mouse and keyboard or a controller any day. You just can't beat the precision of physical buttons and joysticks.
It didn't do well because it was large and many Japanese people have very small living spaces.
