I think it’s best to think of it as an ongoing serialized TV series that’s released in the form of 3-6 insanely expensive 2.5-hour episodes per year, some of which are entirely flashback episodes for no obvious reason.

OML really was just fucking terrible, wasn’t it? I picked up the trade because I’d heard that Logan was partially based on it, and I don’t think I’ve ever been so perfectly set up for crushing disappointment, even knowing in advance that it was a Millar story.
No discussion of mad poopers is complete without a link to the tale of the Mad Shitter of Texas(s) Instruments:
Argh, my bad: I didn’t realize that the audio in the video I linked to was censored.
I and the public know
What all schoolchildren learn,
Those to whom evil is done
Do evil in return.
...what about Barrowman’s wang? (...he asked, knowing instantly that he was going to deeply regret finding out)
Counterpoint:
Well that’s just grim. Good on all of those women for speaking out; pity that they had to. :(
Thank you. I was wondering how we got through the entire article without this being mentioned.
I’m hoping that in a few years people will feel okay talking about what the heck actually happened here. The consistent rumor is that the original plot involved a pandemic starting in the GRC relocation camps and it was all re-tooled during and after filming because they didn’t want to seem like they were crassly…
Argh, this is driving me insane: who’s the young woman on his left? I recognize her but I can’t pull her name out of my head.
FWIW I’ve got some friends of friends in the urbex community; I’ll ask around.
This is disturbingly relevant to my interests.
Good lord. I was, as they say, today years old when I found out that Jim “Total Eclipse of the Heart” Steinman co-produced Floodland. More things in heaven and earth.
Wait what? You can’t just leave that dangling: I’ve never heard of this before. All of my google searches just turn up links to Réso in Montréal, and there’s nothing at all on uer.ca matching your description. The closest thing I can find is a page on the Wolfe’s Cove tunnel on atlasobscura but that’s not bricked up…
Counterpoint: I’ve lived in apartments most of my life and I would be legitimately freaked out if my bathroom mirror turned out to open into the vacant, mid-remodel unit next door. But the basement-under-the-rug one was just silly: where did those people think their circuit breaker box was, and did they really…
Ah, so you’re hoping for a stealth Eleventh Hour reunion? Someone get Arthur Darvill’s agent on the line...
Wait wait stop. Hold the phone. Y’all done buried the lede.
Seconded. You had me at Carax.
Well crap. Just one of those amazing working British actors who could be counted on to elevate every last thing she was in, even stuff that would have been a paycheck job to anyone else. RIP.
