Donald Trump is a possibility to become the US president again. Anything can happen.

But that’s the thing about how to do a franchise well.
And it sucked ass.
Agreed. I wanted so badly to like that movie, because I like everyone involved and hated the misogynistic bullshit it was dealing with, but within like, 20 minutes I knew it was just... not good. It had a few moments here and there but that’s about the best I can say for it.
to be clear, Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters was terrible. It had nothing to do with the casting (all very funny actresses) and everything to do with the slipshod CGI, even more slipshod humor, and general lack of fun.
That’s a great comparison, but I could actually see what Spielberg recognizes in Michael Bay. When Bay talks about his “process” (What? Don’t laugh) he actually comes across smarter than people give him credit for.
Maybe that's the influence. They look at Snyder movies and say "OK, let's make sure we don't do THAT!"
To me, this is even weirder than when we learned that Spielberg liked Michael Bay. So much of what Zach Snyder does looks like what Nolan is purposefully avoiding to do.
Got him on some new meds? Or any at all?
i don’t think he’s lucid enough to be that cynical. he probably just watched a jonah hill movie or is trying to get a sample cleared.
What’s important here is that he was clearly sincere about it.
He’s about to drop an album and someone reminded him that Jewish kids generally love Hip Hop.
Sure. But the article also mentions that many people did have the thought independently before finding others who had the same thought on the internet. I don’t see why you find that so hard to believe.
Tell the kids it’s Hamilton!
Then just show the 1776 musical. That’s at least somewhat historically accurate.
“He’s fucking his sister!”
That’s the real kicker for me. Like, Ethiopia is the literal birthplace of coffee. And in West Africa, the espresso made from beans grown on the Ivory Coast is insane.
The incest really distracts from the “finally, real coffee!” said by a guy who just returned from West Africa. One of the best coffee-producing regions in the world.
Hey, compared to 300, it was practically a documentary!
