Okay, these are legitimately funny.

It’s run for three more seasons after Roseanne was given the boot.

Jean Doumanian’s half-year showrunning SNL truly was disastrous, too! I can count on one hand the genuinely-funny sketches in that three-four month timespan — and on one finger the one Eddie Murphy wasn’t in. (That would have been the “Cloven Hind Jeans” ads, lampooning Brooke Shields’s Calvin Klein ads.)

Not entirely, Mary Pickford — like Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo, Dick Ebersole might’ve seen Goodman as worth salvaging and sent him off to do stand-up to polish his comedy skills.

It could be both of them.

Are you saying that, like Rich Evans, Leslie Jones says,

Buck Henry, for instance was just a writer

Yo, Snowflake! Feeling like you’ll melt being exposed to some actual quasi-Left humor instead of nice, safe, uncontroversial NeoLiberal “comedy”...?

You laugh, I’ll bet Netflix watched this and went, “How’d they find out...?”

Lest we forget, Mickey Rooney went to his grave insisting Mr. Yunioshi was one of his best roles, and that he deserved an Oscar for it!

I don’t know if that’s true, exactly, given how much of a piece Rooney’s Mr. Yunioshi is with Blake Edwards’s “funny furriner” type of humor.

Not really sure I agree, as some of elements that have nothing to do with Mickey Rooney in insulting yellowface didn’t age well either — like Peppard’s shifting sexuality or ... whatever Patricia Neal was supposed to be.

He would have been...but he wasn’t really there.

When I was going to film school in the 1970s, William Wyler was one of the Pantheon Classic Hollywood Directors alongside Howard Hawks, John Ford, Frank Capra, George Cukor, Raoul Walsh, William Wellman, King Vidor and Alfred Hitchcock. (Orson Welles, John Huston, Preston Sturges and Vincente Minnelli were considered

Yeah.... I hate to mention it because he’s such a Trumper asshole IRL, but I’d love see Raylan and Nick Searcy’s Art Mullen work together again. Maybe have Art working the Detroit U.S. Marshal’s Office because he retired and either (1) needed the money because the U.S. Marshal Service’s Pension Fund got gobbled up by

Yes, it does — but because YOU’RE an obstructionist Republican, YOU refuse to Look Up, bfred!

So is the problem that Ianucci would have been a far better choice to do this movie than McKay?

I think he’s hoping enough people get angry enough to lynch Joe Manchin and everybody else who’s doing jack shit, honestly.

Exactly The Man We Need in Harper’s Ferry!

Yes, The Kinja Caffeine Spider!
