As Cavalish has already said, the British have great dental health thanks to the NHS — they just really don’t care about cosmetic dentistry. TOP GEAR used to make this point all the time, with Jeremy Clarkson and James May mocking Richard Hammond’s his perfectly-straight white teeth — to most Brits, it shows you’re

I know, it takes you back the first time you see it! But it’s grated pistachio, and it’s delicious.

Sounds like Krispy Kreme to me. Come at me! (I mean, they’re totally adequate, but outside of being fresh and hot there are much, much better doughnuts to be had anywhere that isn’t a Dunkin’.)

Better, ONE PUNCH! — Universal+!

Somebody deeply nostalgic for the NBC brand, I guess?

THE LOST SYMBOL, that Dan Brown adaptation that doesn’t star Tom Hanks, is on Peacock.

a hilariously “bad” medical spoof, where the cast was purposely bad and inept - yet portrayed everything as serious and brilliant. It was a brilliant show. Plus, the doctors carried guns, for some reason.

For a while we got Virgin Classic Rock on our Internet Radio, and Matt Berry was the overall Virgin Radio Announcer. When he pops off with that stentorian Yorkshire Accent, he sounds like a more barrel-chested Patrick Stewart — I’ve love to see the two of them do a comedy sketch together!

Yeah, that would’ve been great, the cool video game guy! Sort of a cross between the 1950s “realistic” SF series MEN INTO SPACE

But — are they saying Buzz Lightyear is the real Zefram Cochrane?

Good one, Liebkartoffel!

No — 1.43:1 is IMAX Standard scale. It’s a bit wider than 1.33:1 (or 4:3), but it’s so close you’d have to be really sensitive to notice it! (https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/64246577 demonstrates it far better than I can explain it.)

Did you watch it at home or in a theater? One thing Villeneuve does brilliantly is scale — he wows you with it like Christopher Nolan does, only his scripts are less “Stupid Person’s Idea of Smart SF” than Nolan’s are.
