Going ballistic is too much, but wanting people to do a minimum good job at their assigned task isn’t being an asshole. Just be polite about it.

All decent points, granted. As for me, gimme a van-based RV (a.k.a. “Class B” RV) with an approx 200-300 mi range and good charging infrastructure. Then we can talk...

Crucial is a great place to go for RAM. Maybe not the dirt cheapest, but good quality stuff, and their website makes picking out the correct modules easy.

Shhh...don’t say that too loudly, or the Linux people will show up. Then the level of discourse will really go off the rails... :D

I’m...not sure why a less than 96 mi range for a Class B RV would be “amazing.” But maybe your favorite state park campground is close ? (Mind you, I’m all for electric vehicles, but not sure I see an RV use case here)

And, speaking as some who does Information Security for a living, the Oct. 2018 issue NordVPN had was vastly overblown in the tech media.

I know this has been seen all over the Intertubes lately, but damn...Canada must feel like someone who lives in an apartment over a meth lab.

Try reading about the Winter War sometime... The Finns were so tenacious that the Soviet Union didn’t try to invade again after WWII ended.

If you want to make a proper cup of hot tea, you gotta start with Ireland, not the UK. Get yourself some Barry’s Gold, hot water, and brew for 4-5 min. Then optionally add sugar and milk (preferably 2%, not whole milk or half-and-half)

When you say things like “The obusifcation doesn’t happen until the data hits the VPN server,” then no - I don’t think you know how it works...

You...don’t know how this works, do you ?

Fries with aioli / European mayo are transcendent.

This makes me sad for a number of reasons. I really loved going to Publix when we visited Florida. It was my second favorite grocery chain after H.E.B. here in Texas.

The Megachurch affiliation is at least as disturbing. Not only for the anti-LGBT sentiments mentioned in the article, but because of the huge pressure at those places to buy in to the whole “conservative” socio-political worldview, which includes all manner of bigotry. Because Jesus (or something).

It funny that you think the original July 4th had anything to do with freedom for anyone other than white men. Particularly white men who were landowners.

Speaking as a jerk and a republican.....

Like another commenter here, I’m also from the South with a family history there going back to the 18th cent. and relatives that fought for the CSA in the Civil War. I’m actually distantly related to Robt. E. Lee.

My wife pretty much demands the following, and she loves my chicken salad:
