To be totally fair to Mr. Statham, his concern about looking like “a Big Muscle Man who is Big but also a Muscle Man” is totally understandable.  As the picture in this article demonstrates, when standing next to Mr. Johnson, he can easily be mistaken for an insignificant ant.

Only two all-stars and some bit players = .500 ball?

Good point.  I’ve been giving the fan the benefit of the doubt that, while wrong, he may have reacted understandably out of concern for the woman.  Your point is pretty damning.

That’s normal. Courtside seat fans often take minor liberties with pretending that they’re best buds with the players.

I’m a guy cutting the fan some slack on the possibility that, while wrong, he may have reacted understandably to what he incorrectly perceived as an improper action by the player. But as long as it was within the realm of possibility that he could have kept the ball in play and he didn’t unnecessarily increase the

You’re right.  You don’t understand the culture of the game.  The people pay a huge premium for those seats are knowingly accepting that risk.

There is no error involved in speaking an African-American dialect.  That dialect has its own grammar, including rules on which forms of verbs to use.  Those rules differ from those in standard American English.

He literally called a black man uneducated and hinted that he’s stupid for speaking (almost certainly correctly) in an African-American dialect. That is racism, pure and simple.  There's no subtlety or doubt about it.

In the 70s and 80s people used to refer to some people as an “articulate black man” with no apparent realization of the racist assumptions in that phrase.

Yeah, the racism is obvious, but Lowry’s word choice is not even wrong. There is a dialect that uses different verb forms, but those forms are not random. The dialect has real rules. While I grew up in an area where that dialect was common, I don’t know those rules well. So, I can’t be sure, but it looks like Lowry

He didn’t say that Lowry shouldn’t have chased the ball into the stands, just that Lowry didn’t appear to make any effort to avoid injuring the woman (I have no opinion on this) and that it’s understandable that the guy might have felt outraged by that. I agree on the second point. Even if the fan was 100% wrong,

Because he’s a strong and agile athlete who might have been able to soften the blow and she’s a middle-aged woman who could be seriously hurt??

Based on the video, it would be possible that the fan was pushing Lowry away from his seatmate that Lowry had just squished in pursuit of what the fan might have wrongly seen as a totally futile pursuit of the ball. If the ball had already been out of bounds, which it wasn’t, it would have been a huge dick move by

So, the screen on my 2015 will go bad in 6 months? It works fine now.

This would be a good thing for Tesla to put some effort into. Having abandoned the clever but little-used rear-facing third row option may give them some more room in back to increase the recline or otherwise improve these seats.

Yeah.  I hope they don’t make significant changes to the exterior of the S.  To me, it’s one of the most attractive cars on the road.

You’re aware that the cheaper motors are not less good, right?  The Model 3 seats may also be better and many people, but not me, prefer the more spartan interior with fewer physical controls.

Eh. Demand is weak at current prices. Many people prefer the Model 3 at the current pricing. Reducing the costs of production and the sales price, while increasing the sales volume could help Tesla increase profits on the S/X.

So, they’re handing the interface over to Apple?

I think what CNBC means by the rather obvious statement that “the S and X are each made with a lot of parts” is that they’re each made with a lot of different parts.”
