Yeah, specifically apparently SAG-AFTRA was asking for 2% of revenue from streaming and the AMPTP said “that’s unreasonable.” Forgive me, but I seem to recall most actors’ backend deals are waaaaaaaaaaaaay higher than 2%! Bruce Willis took 14% on The Sixth Sense IIRC (on gross! not net!)...

Delicious as it might be, though, that version takes the deft hand of a skilled pitmaster, and I needed something more approachable. I needed a McRib I could make in my own Paradise: my backyard.

We know from the trailers that Jonathan Majors is going to come back as another version of Kang, but it’s telling that Loki didn’t do that in season two’s premiere episode. I do think, though, that the showrunners for both WandaVision and Loki had very clear visions of what they wanted to do AND had the benefit of existing (and well-loved) characters in the franchise.

I was extremely surprised last night to want to check out Diamondbacks/Dodgers after my wife went to bed, plugging that in on Roku to see what was available, and seeing MAX...  seemed super weird.
