Obviously Fiddler is his main draw, but he brought such a humanity and manic, zany energy to Dr. Hans Zarkov in Flash Gordon it was amazing...

We actually couldn’t figure out who Nick Cannon was dressed as, or if that was just his normal attire from his closet...

So what was the dude who attacked Din? He sort of looked like a cyborged- or mecha-Geonosian which... would be a choice.

In fairness, having never watched Clone Wars or Rebels, I felt like I was maybe missing a little -- but in the course of the story, just knowing “these were Mandalorians from the CW series” and “I know who Ahsoka is” and seeing how they fit in (even only knowing Grand Admiral Thrawn from the OG novels) was fine...

I mean, Season 2 also did some of the “we’re doing side-quests whilst we gear up to Do The Thing” right at the very beginning, but basically from Episode 4 onwards DID THE THING very rapidly.  And S2 was pretty fucking amazing.

I hated The Rise of Skywalker with a passion and very much liked Babu Frik, so there’s that too...

Yes, and? People take vacation. Typically in the summer and winter at least, and usually for weeks (plural) at a time.   It’s not hugely uncommon...

She’d have done that in the offseason...

Why they changed it, I can’t say...

I mean, I ... get it? In translating to a visual medium, unless the game itself had them showing you what Ellie was seeing in her head as an actual video game — it’s probably cheaper to license a game and have them play it.

I meant emotionally -- I don’t actually care how many infected there are...  :p

I will say — having not played the games, I was expecting this backstory to be muuuuuuuuch worse than what we saw. It was still rough, but really only out of a sense of angst knowing how it was going to end.

I was just gonna say “Why don’t they just mix ice, Kool-Aid mix, and Everclear like you’re supposed to?!?”

I feel somewhat badly that my musical tastes might run parallel to Cheetolini there.

I’m sorry...

I’m unfamiliar with the series (it was after I’d stopped reading comics on the regular) but my answer would probably be “never?”

For me Amadeus Cho is one of the only recognizable Korean/Korean-American Marvel superheroes — and whilst there are a lot more Korean-American actors, Yuen is on the younger end of the extremely well-known ones (SIDE NOTE: John Cho is fucking 50?!?)... so it makes sense if Marvel’s gonna pull that trigger sooner than

I’d say Amadeus Cho, but he’s probably too old even for an aged-up character?
