Occasionally, I would find myself watching the monitor and notice The Zec’s reflection over my shoulder, watching the action and my every choice intently.

“Amends” is low-key one of my favorite episodes of the series.

The whole special is like that though, and not only gives Capaldi’s Doctor the push he needed after the events of the last three episodes (not spoiling for folks who may yet watch), but also closes the loop on River’s first appearance and ends on perhaps the most perfect note of any DW episode...

So, “Noel” is on the list of things we watch every Christmas — so definitely agree there. However! Not one Christmas Special from Doctor Who on your list?

RIP.

Since Lloyd Alexander’s The Chronicles of Prydain are some of my favorite (and imo best) YA fantasy novels out there, and clearly inspired much of Star Wars amongst others — I hated that The Black Cauldron flopped, but also that they did a piss-poor adaptation of it...

I join you on The Ringer love. That cast was stacked and had Luke Cage before I knew who he was! It was a double-feature for me with Revenge (which managed to last longer).

Yeah, I loved me lots and lots of The 100. I told people to watch it repeatedly, called it stealthily one of the most pro-feminist shows on TV...

So, uh, either the secret is out or... it’s “too good to be true”...

I mean, if you’re not going to use an actual Spaniard, Oscar Isaac is right there... but yeah, no to Tom Holland as Zorro; that’d go over as well as Johnny Depp as Tonto...

That was the take Gizmodo — on this website! — took:

In fairness, since a lot of other people have talked about ranking, they’ve largely moved away from ranking — going alphabetically — unless the article says “ranking the...” (i.e. the MCU movies, Elton John songs, etc.)

Yeah, we’ve loved the switch and even Tyra appears to be much improved this season (and funnier!), with letting Alfonso do the chit-chat.

Are you fucking kidding me with this? Ignoring WKRP in Cincinnati?

Huzzah for more Omundson!

Yeah, a lot of it is come as you are, but come harder than Reform Judaism — I’ve seen men not wear yarmulkes but wear tzitzit... that one’s always bizarre to me, but it works for them!
