The actual gameplay handles like garbage and nothing feels like it has actual consequences, just a series of “if” statements which then fold back on it’s terrible moment to moment gameplay, just like every other Rockstar game - which would be fine if the gameplay didn’t pretend like that was something it had going for…

The takeaway I got was that these are scripted to the point of rote. It seems more a lamenting of there not being perceived advances in environment, and that everyone exists to serve the player, which reduces the realism.
