Mad Catz has never been a top tier third party peripheral maker, but damned if I’m not sad to see them go. They have been a cornerstone to the gaming industry for a long, long time. RIP Mad Catz.

I remember having a Mad Catz GameCube controller what had “ribs” on the side of the handles. I played Wind Waker so much I actually got bruises on my palms from the ribs. Good times.
Wow. The end of an era. I’ll always remember fighting with my childhood friends over who had to use the flaky Mad Catz controller.
You know, the usual. Partly cloudy with a chance of extremely inconvenient rain.
Some impressions after playing on Switch docked with the patch last night - I’ve always had more frame rate issues docked than in handheld mode, and they’re easier to notice on the big screen.
Same. I prefer the Pro Controller, but give me the Joy-Con Grip, and I can work with it a-okay.
Nobody will like you unless you get them all.
I started a new game last night, oblivious to the patch I downloaded minutes prior (it said system update, so I assumed it was updating the eShop or something). I played from a new game for about 4 hours, clearing the plateau and beyond not even realizing I hadn’t seen a single frame drop.
I’ve been playing it with separated Joy-Con just fine...
I honestly have never been particularly bothered by framerate issues, although I acknowledge that they pop up in areas with a lot of moving textures (lots of grass in the wind, for example). Since it never really affected me before, I’m really looking forward to checking it out now.
While I don’t think it’s the perfect game, I still gave you a star. Probably my all-time second fave Zelda, after LttP, which I DO think is a perfect game.
Objectively, BotW is probably the best Zelda. Whether it’s in your top three or not is irrelevant and down to your own personal taste.
Horizon Zero Yawn you mean.
Yup. I’m getting much, much better performance in Korok Forest (I’ve also got it running right this second and, again, in handheld mode).
Good, now we can all stop whining about the frame rate and just accept that it is the perfect game.
Go to the airport strip, drive in a line and take a right as hard as you can and then try the same left, you definitely see the difference how quickly it spins. It’s nothing to do with how good a ‘driver’ you are :)
At that point, his recipients seem like an exercise in wishful thinking.
I miss when you had to draw your sex organ and mail it across the country in the hopes that the horse drawn carriage pulling your mail across the rugged, undeveloped landscape becomes waylaid by a pack of female bandits who seize the mail, find your hand drawn sex organ, and eventually track you down because, my man,…
Nothing in the world makes more sense to me than “Ryan” namedropping his Droid.
