The ARMS theme is amazing. Actually, the whole game is fantastic. Really great art style and theme. Reminds me of the world they created for Splatoon. Really impressed by it!

Nintendo owns all the Pokemon trademarks, and part of Creatures (or Game Freak, I forget - one of the devs on Pokemon, anyway), along with probably a larger share of the Pokemon Company than either Game Freak or Creatures. I only used the motion controls, because they worked so well for me. Went 26-0 on my second day with them. They’re really great, I think. I’ll give the normal controls a try when the game comes out, but I have a feeling I’ll just stick with the motion controls like I did with Splatoon.

You can turn off items in Versus mode, though. Or change them to just banana peels or whatever. In splitscreen, at least. Not sure about online. I’ve never minded blue shells, though. They screw you sometimes, but the best player still wins 80% of the matches.
