Unfortunately one of the tenets of copyright involves aggressive defense of your copyright. You very specifically can’t just shrug your shoulders at one use, because other folks can use that as proof you don’t actually care about losing money your property could generate.

Yeah this is a classic problem with online photography. Many photographers just want to share their work, often earning nothing from it but some nice comments (or constructive criticism), being spotlighted on sites, and some shares — which pictures covered in overly prominent watermarks rarely get.

So, that’s happening more and more. And it’s becoming more aggressive, too. But it’s far from a perfect solution, because if you put watermarks where they CAN’T be cropped, you’re also intruding on the focus of the image itself, which is taking away from the allure of the image.

I find poorly made movies boring, not fun, and tedious, even with my brain turned off. There’s a difference between well-made trash and complete crap.

I never got that mentality... if you’re only interested in the exciting visuals, why see a movie at all? You could just wait until someone uploads all the fight scenes and watch them on Youtube. They moved because they didnt want to go up against Civil War. March is traditionally a good month for films that studios think are good but may get lost in the shuffle during the prime blockbuster movie months. Release date has nothing to do with it. August is usually where they dump films.
