I listened to the Trifecta growing up - Monica, Brandy and Aaliyah. Brandy always felt like she was above the other two because she had Moesha. Plus she was backed by Puff and Mase. But that was over 15 years ago, let it go Brandy. After Full Moon, nobody wanted to listen to you.

I mean, as Jewel said: “As a feminist, I can’t support everything that’s being said tonight, but as somebody who hates Ann Coulter, I’m delighted.”

I was REALLY skeeved by a supercut of all the “sick burns” that were thrown at her during the roast. It was all sexist bullshit making fun of her looks...like...THERE’S SO MUCH MATERIAL THERE, WHY GO FOR THE SEXIST HACK JOKES?!?! I know we all hate her, but it doesn’t make that shit ok.

honestly I think it’s just lips and angle and mugging for the camera...and of course tons of makeup. maybe a little nose work.

Dude, really, it can happen to anyone. It’s really not about being tough or strong. I would have that conversation with your daughter.

I hated I Spit On Your Grave. It’s the Saw of rape revenge movies, in that it milks the torture of its main character’s prolonged gang rape as much as it does her [SPOILER!] ultimate revenge on her attackers. I don't need to see 45 minutes of someone being brutally raped, no matter what happens afterward.

Most unfortunately, Spit doesn’t really achieve this. Roger Ebert made the brilliant point that while the rape is filmed very realistically (that is, brutally, horribly, lots of close ups, goes on forever) the revenge actions by the woman are presented as over the top action thriller stuff. In other words, not realisti

I read Roger Ebert's review of it in one of his books. He said people (awful men) in the audience were cheering during the rape scenes. All I have to say about that movie after reading that review is NO THANKS.

To be fair, I think we’re supposed to disagree with that line and totally see it as rape. Still super squicky.

i’m not sure the director is saying it, but the character absolutely believes that he’s not committing rape through artificial insemination.

I had a panic attack while out with one of my friends, who had NO experience with them what so ever. He asked later what it felt like, and I explained that it felt like that moment after getting the wind knocked out of you, and you take that first breath. You know you’re going to breathe again, but that doesn’t help

I loved her story of the dentist who thought she must be a real party girl because he had to use so much gas to put her under and she was still awake as they commented on it.

did she record a segment for next week’s bitch sesh is my main concern here

Yeah, that’s not the point. Don't go to a show and heckle people. Don't be a dick. THATS THE POINT.

When I want to learn about oppression, I consult the most attractive blonde girl I can find.

Heard that! I don’t really mind waiting, because the production values are so spectacular, but at the same time I CAN’T WAIT. More more more!

Slightly related but not really - <3 <3 <3 <3 Jamie Clayton. Her and Amanita in Sense8 are such a cute couple (I would say cutest but Hernando and Lito might take the cake).

I am dying for a second season over here.

Confession time: I actually liked Selfie and was kind of sad it got cancelled.

No mention of the role she’s ACTUALLY best known for, Amy Pond from Doctor Who? FOR SHAME.
