I listened to the Trifecta growing up - Monica, Brandy and Aaliyah. Brandy always felt like she was above the other two because she had Moesha. Plus she was backed by Puff and Mase. But that was over 15 years ago, let it go Brandy. After Full Moon, nobody wanted to listen to you.

I was REALLY skeeved by a supercut of all the “sick burns” that were thrown at her during the roast. It was all sexist bullshit making fun of her looks...like...THERE’S SO MUCH MATERIAL THERE, WHY GO FOR THE SEXIST HACK JOKES?!?! I know we all hate her, but it doesn’t make that shit ok.

I hated I Spit On Your Grave. It’s the Saw of rape revenge movies, in that it milks the torture of its main character’s prolonged gang rape as much as it does her [SPOILER!] ultimate revenge on her attackers. I don't need to see 45 minutes of someone being brutally raped, no matter what happens afterward.
Most unfortunately, Spit doesn’t really achieve this. Roger Ebert made the brilliant point that while the rape is filmed very realistically (that is, brutally, horribly, lots of close ups, goes on forever) the revenge actions by the woman are presented as over the top action thriller stuff. I read Roger Ebert's review of it in one of his books. He said people (awful men) in the audience were cheering during the rape scenes. All I have to say about that movie after reading that review is NO THANKS.
To be fair, I think we’re supposed to disagree with that line and totally see it as rape. Still super squicky.
i’m not sure the director is saying it, but the character absolutely believes that he’s not committing rape through artificial insemination.
I had a panic attack while out with one of my friends, who had NO experience with them what so ever. He asked later what it felt like, and I explained that it felt like that moment after getting the wind knocked out of you, and you take that first breath. You know you’re going to breathe again, but that doesn’t help…
I loved her story of the dentist who thought she must be a real party girl because he had to use so much gas to put her under and she was still awake as they commented on it.
