You are mistaking WoC for Black which is part of the problem. Her mother is not a Black American woman, but a Creole Cape Verdean, meaning she’s a mix of African, Portuguese, and perhaps something else. She’s still a WoC, just like Adriana Lima, a Brazilian of African, Japanese, and Portuguese descent, is a WoC. WoC

I love the open chair at the end of the line. It’s silently implying so many things. Because you KNOW there are more out there. And more women that will be raped by others. It's almost an open invitation to other victims to feel like they could step up and join those women who were able to come forward.

I want to go to there.....I live really close and I'm tired of dry brown vegetation.

I posted this on Facebook yesterday with a “bwahahaha”. Imagine my embarrassment when a friend tagged her photo wearing it. (it looked kind of cute on, but still...)

The pool looks lovely but I’m going to need an explanation for this HIGHLY OMINOUS silhouette before I proceed.

I thought it was like...a slipper. A weird, half slipper.

Though I would like to see a picture of someone wearing it. So I can laugh and laugh.

You could always use a makeup sealer. I got Final Seal for my wedding in Jamaica so that my makeup wouldn’t sweat off. It really works wonders. Not a smudge or run or smear anywhere. And to take it off all you need is toner. :)

congrats, huck.

Oh my god I need spaghetti RIGHT NOW where is it

This is so awesome TOL was great.

For me, too. The Fall starts seeming a bit too contrived somewhere in Season 2, but Gillian Anderson is so fucking boss that I don’t even care (Dornan is good too).

Is it bad of me to secretly hope that Bernie Sanders somehow miraculously gets the nomination instead of Hillary?

Cons- Its weirdly paced and drags at times. It deals with a lot of super icky subject matter. In the end it gets really real really quick. Not for the faint at heart. Its very very dark and bleak.

I’m a lunatic, I know this. But, those are two of my favorite movies of all time. I’ve seen Requiem about a half dozen times, and who knows how many times I watched Kids - 40? 50?

I agree. And if you actually did read the book and come out of it thinking that you were supposed to like HH, then you missed the point big time. He straight up married Charlotte just so he could get close to her 12-year-old “nymphette” daughter. There was nothing at all appealing or good about him. Really, the best

This. I think half the people who bitch about Nabokov never even read Lolita.

Oh God I just realized how much he looks like Gareth Keenan.
