This is confusing because, at least in England, many shows feature extremely diverse casts. Misfits and Skins spring immediately to mind, and I believe those were both very successful series.

The Bronwyn thing doesn’t bother me, actually. I think it will be much more striking visually to see this little tiny girl with such huge strength, and I’m guessing that’s why they made that particular change.

It seems like they’ve switched Olive’s power with Emma’s, so now Emma can “control air” and will be the one floating into the sky instead of Olive. It also allows Emma to be able to form air bubbles for Jacob to breathe in the ship scene. Not sure how I feel about it...

I was surprised that they changed Emma’s power too, but I think it might be for a good reason. Her fire power wasn’t that central to the plot, and this way makes much more sense with the whole swimming to the bottom of the ocean thing. I’m keeping my mind open to the changes being for the better (fingers crossed)!

They do actually film much of the show in West Covina... where have you seen it filming?
