There's also Cabin Fever 2 and "M is for Miscarriage". I like West, but I share Jordo's concerns.

Here's a semi fun fact: Mac Tonight was played by Doug Jones; later to play Abe Sapien and all sorts of other scary-thin characters.

Wow. I feel exactly the opposite of this. I love Scott's ad reads so much that I'm hoping someone will compile all of his Stamps.com ads together.

Aukerman's appearance as Ben Franklin on the Dead Authors Podcast (which deserves a spot on Podmass) proves your statement to be incorrect. Loose lips, hard to cum.

I just don't understand it. I'll admit that the coincidental use of David Gale's name offered a few moments of amusement when the film first came out, but I was certainly never upset that the makes of the film didn't acknowledge a worthy - but minor - cult actor who happened to share that name. I'm equally baffled by

While I love David Gale (the RE-ANIMATOR actor), the paragraph in this article criticizing those who made THE LIFE OF DAVID GALE for not noting the connection to the actor is one of the most bizarre bits of criticism I think I've ever read.

This is the first I've heard about this "controversy", but I loved every single thing about this interview. I feel like I've always just accepted the ridiculous world of game shows at face value, but I found so much about this refreshing and fascinating. The guy is well spoken, and explained himself incredibly well.

There's something fishy going on down at the sardine factory! I think it's fish!

PBS really has been quite good about online availability. I find myself checking the PBS Roku channel fairly regularly - and there truly is a wealth of interesting programming. I wish the CBC was as progressive about making their shows available.

I saw THE MISSING PICTURE at TIFF, and while it really is quite extraordinary, it's also overwhelmingly bleak. Of course, that's quite appropriate for the subject matter.. but it really pummels you, and is a bit exhausting emotionally.

Rifftrax has its share of terrible skits as well (the sex scenes in THE ROOM are unbearable for more reasons than just Tommy Wiseau's ass), and the jettisoning of more obscure references to focus on running jokes makes me never quite enjoy them as much as prime MST3K.

This. Entirely. And for those who haven't checked out This Is England '86 or '88, they are both just as good as This Is England. Hell.. I might have even liked 88 a bit more.

I found it amusing, but the concept already feels dated - and the musical interlude didn't do anything for me. Though I do get his closing song stuck in my head more often than I'd like to admit. I enjoy his books (and the audiobook versions of those books) so much more.

I feel like we should be talking about the House of Cosbys more.

Bernstein and that gal with the white parasol! It was meant to be.

Sounds like Jenkins told him how it's gonna be.

Mother of Tears is not good. But it's not terrible. But Sleepless was the last one that I found something to enjoy in.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but this is the British show they were referring to. The incident in question might be one of the most fascinating things to ever happen on a game show. http://youtu.be/S0qjK3TWZE8

It makes me think of REAL GENIUS, so it can't be ALL bad.
